COTS Training Program
This commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) training program was designed by Joan Fletcher, president of Winning Ways, Inc.
Based on proven models and methodologies, this 8-workshop program focuses on experientially teaching techniques that enables leaders to see new possibilities through increased awareness in their own leadership and their teams, take new and more effective actions, and produce breakthrough results - and do so on a repeatable basis.
Title: Periscope Leadership Program
Description: The Periscope Leadership Program is presented as 8 half-day workshops, typically one workshop per month. There are assignments to be completed at the start of the program and between each workshop. This structure allows participants to reflect on, apply, and deepen their learning. In addition, participants learn with, through and from each other, thereby enhancing communication, trust, relationships, collaboration and teamwork. Participants will also boost individual and team effectiveness, leadership, productivity, and performance.

At the end of the program, each participant will have accomplished the following:
o Grow participants’ communication and leadership skills: clearly understanding how to shape culture, get more effective results, and be an overall effective team player through your daily conversations.
o Cultivate emotional intelligence: understanding how thinking and non-verbal behavior leads to credibility, trustworthiness and productivity.
o Increase Management Competencies: gaining practical management tools necessary to supervise teams, set clear goals and achieve successful outcomes.
o Align individual and team actions: creating healthier, happier and more productive relationships.
o Connect and learn: communicate with other participants in the program, breaking down silos and using collaboration to increase company success and ROI.

Duration: Eight, half day workshops, typically held monthly.

Instructor Bio: Joan Fletcher, president, of Winning Ways, Inc, is one of the most highly regarded executive leadership coaches in the Washington DC Metro Area. Joan brings over 30 years of experience, helping leaders develop new habits to enrich their lives and make them more successful.
Joan became a certified Leadership Coach through Georgetown University’s Leadership Coaching Program and holds a master’s degree in Individualized Studies, specializing on Adult Learning and Communication. She also holds the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
Joan is passionate about helping leaders observe their thoughts and actions so they achieve the results they want. Through self-awareness and emotional intelligence training, she has the rare ability to obtain measurable results that bring about real change.
