Joan Fletcher Winning Ways Strategic Planning empowers an organization by distinguishing exactly where it wants/needs to go then giving it a clear road map for getting there. Strategic planning provides a format for developing specific strategies, converting those strategies into a business planning process, establishing measurable and attainable organizational goals, and implementing the plan.
The Process
The strategic planning process involves a series of preliminary meetings to define the vision, mission, and values of the organization. Once these are defined the actual strategic planning begins. Joan Fletcher Winning Ways works with the organization’s leadership to identify Critical Success Factors (the organization’s central goals) for the success and growth of the organization. Each Critical Success Factor is defined in detail with each action step needed for the executives of the company to achieve the organizational goals. The strategic planning then becomes individualized based on the organization’s specific needs. The plan can involve job descriptions, performance reviews, organizational charts, systems for smoother operations, and more.
A specific plan of action contributes to long-term, sustainable success. If implemented correctly, it will create higher levels of motivation and commitment and continuously fuel high levels of achievement from everyone within the organization.
